Grand River Facilities
Our venue provides exclusive mood lighting according to the bride and grooms preference. This means you can choose the theme and colour you want for your big day.
ROOMS
We have 2 stunning function rooms, the Grand Suite which can cater for a large number of Guests. The River Suite equally as elegant as the Grand Suite can also cater for small and medium sized functions. Both our stunning suites can be used to host separate functions but should you wish to use both the suites then please give us a call and we will endeavor to meet your needs .
SEGREGATION
If you would like a segregated wedding you can take both of our halls and segregate them according to your needs. We offer two separate entrances, full partitioning facilities and both male and female waitering services.
BRIDAL ROOM
We have two separate rooms for the bride and groom. The bridal room is spacious and perfectly setup to allow her and her bridesmaids to prepare for her big day. If the bride needs privacy at any time during the function, she can relax in the bridal room knowing fully well that she won’t be interrupted or disturbed. A private En-Suite is provided for the bride along with complimentary refreshments. In addition to the Bridal Room we have another room for family in the reception area. All of our private rooms have WI-FI facilities so you can relax, unwind and enjoy the day to the fullest.
PRAYER ROOMS AND ABLUTION
We have two prayer rooms which are segregated for men and women. As well as that, we have complete wudhu facilities where men and women can sit down comfortably and complete their ablution.
Approved Marriage and Civil Partnership
Grand River Suite provides space for all types of weddings from a small, intimate wedding party to civil weddings and partnerships. We are licensed for civil weddings regardless of size and the wedding service is carried out by the Registrar, who must be contacted and booked by you. Remember, whatever your numbers, we believe that we have the perfect setting for your wedding day. We work closely with the Derby Registration Service and our regular Registrars will put you and your guests at ease for your ceremony.

BABY CHANGING
If during the function your child is crying, needs a feed or simply needs a nappy change you can utilise our baby changing room. The room is fully secure and private so you won’t be disturbed whilst you attend to your child’s needs.
DISABLED ACCESS
Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels relaxed, comfortable and safe during the whole day; therefore, our venue is fully child and disability friendly. We do not have any stairs so everything is on the ground floor. This is to allow easy access for guests on a wheelchair or pram.
CAR PARK
We offer car parking facilities for up to 350 vehicles, we have secure and reserved parking for up to 50 vehicles in our private parking, whilst offering a further 330 spaces to guests attending the function. Parking attendants shall be on hand to guide your guests.
AIR CONDITIONING
Our facility is fully air conditioned for your comfort and ease.
OTHER
Grand River Suite is fully fitted with a high tech PA system for use during parts of the function or the entirety of the function. We also have a fully operational sound system for entertainment.
